揭秘石英晶振的制造過程,ECS-2520S25-050-EN-TR晶振
盡管世界技術(shù)格局在的不斷變化,但石英始終是制造清潔、持久的晶振優(yōu)質(zhì)材料,作用于最精確的計(jì)時(shí)產(chǎn)品上。幾乎任何材料都能夠產(chǎn)生和共振頻率;石英的不同之處在于其獨(dú)特的晶體結(jié)構(gòu)使其能夠以產(chǎn)生最穩(wěn)定反應(yīng)的方式形成。
然而制造這些石英晶體振蕩器的過程非常具體且難以做到。
生長人造石英晶體
石英是一種天然存在的礦物,具有均勻的晶體結(jié)構(gòu),由兩個(gè)氧原子和一個(gè)硅原子組成。多年的高壓和暴露在高溫下,創(chuàng)造了這種獨(dú)特的礦物。這種礦物的學(xué)名是SiO4硅氧四面體。
不幸的是,大自然無法提供生長SiO4所需的恒定壓力和溫度水平,而不會(huì)產(chǎn)生缺陷和污染,使其不適合用于技術(shù)應(yīng)用。這就是高壓滅菌器的用武之地。高壓釜是一種大型壓力容器,可將原始的天然石英變成純SiO4石英條。
高壓釜將原石英置于10,000psi-40,000psi左右的壓力下,溫度為340~380ºC。許多石英片,稱為種子,懸掛在線框上,高壓釜通電并加壓。這導(dǎo)致天然石英從底部蒸發(fā),不留下任何雜質(zhì)。在此之后,天然石英在這些恒定的壓力和溫度下重新配制到種子上。生長晶體的過程需要30到120天才能完成。
切割水晶
在高壓釜工藝產(chǎn)生純SiO4石英棒后,制造工藝的下一步是根據(jù)其預(yù)期用途的尺寸將棒切割成小塊。這是使用高精度刀具完成的,這些刀具旨在非常精確地切割并使用精確的角度。在此步驟中,制造商必須記住使晶體坯料比要求略厚。
然后可以仔細(xì)蝕刻這些較厚的坯料并研磨到所需的厚度。對(duì)于更精確的晶體,坯料做得稍微薄一些,以便它以所需的更高頻率共振。在此之后,將金或其他材料濺射到毛坯上的仔細(xì)過程發(fā)生,以便將其微調(diào)到所需的頻率。

蝕刻
為了使這種晶體在振蕩器中有效,表面經(jīng)過化學(xué)蝕刻以消除研磨造成的損壞。蝕刻為晶體提供了更精細(xì)的光潔度,阻止了不需要的化學(xué)物質(zhì)和碎屑進(jìn)入并擾亂頻率。除了精細(xì)的光潔度外,蝕刻是改變晶體尺寸的過程的最后階段。蝕刻后,晶體應(yīng)達(dá)到所需的尺寸以供使用。
蝕刻過程必須通過仔細(xì)清潔晶體表面來完成,確保去除蝕刻過程中使用的所有外部化學(xué)物質(zhì)痕跡。
電極
在晶體達(dá)到所需的規(guī)格和光潔度后,通過將成品晶體坯料放入蒸發(fā)掩模中并將銀或金蒸氣沉積到晶體表面,形成電極,從而添加電極基座。最后,將引線連接到沉積的電極上,并將成品晶體安裝到其支架中。
密封
一旦晶體安裝在其支架中,它就會(huì)用氮?dú)饷芊猓苑乐共恍枰牟牧线M(jìn)入設(shè)計(jì)。這些不需要的顆粒會(huì)導(dǎo)致晶體內(nèi)的老化和其他問題。
檢查
在晶體經(jīng)過全面檢查之前,制造過程尚未完成。在檢查過程中,應(yīng)檢查晶體以確認(rèn)規(guī)格正確且晶體按預(yù)期運(yùn)行。檢測(cè)的徹底程度和水平取決于晶體的復(fù)雜性和所需的性能。更常用生產(chǎn)的晶體可以分批檢測(cè),而更細(xì)微的組件通常單獨(dú)檢測(cè)。資料下載
